The Arctic is sadly disappearing.
Finnish Ministry of Environment wanted primary school ecology lessons to be experiential and memorable. And, well, as you really can’t take thousands of students to the Arctic, our sound designers brought the Northern wilds to the classroom. The four soundscapes (earth, water, fire, air) are designed to be played in the background of ecology lessons. The materials are freely available for all teachers and can be found from the Ministry of Environments website.
Arctic Soundscapes tell stories of nature without a single line of dialogue and transport the students into the Arctic wilds. Have a listen!
